The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is dedicated to helping non-local students transition smoothly into university life. We provide convenient airport and high-speed rail pick-up services and accompany non-local students to their designated accommodations.

The Student Affairs Office (SAO) organizes arrival orientation sessions in October for non-local students, scheduled according to their specific enrollment dates. These seminars introduce university resources, services, and student activities, while also addressing cultural similarities and differences to help new students adapt to university life.

Campus life at Saint Francis University is vibrant and diverse. The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is dedicated to organizing a wide range of programs, including value and life education, student organizations, sports teams, and student development activities, available to all students, including our non-local community, to support whole-person development. Students can obtain relevant information and register for these activities through the Student Portal and their student email.

The Student Affairs Office (SAO) promotes a healthy lifestyle through a diverse range of sports activities designed for whole-person development. Students can join regular sports training to improve physical fitness and well-being. We also provide expert-led certificate courses for students seeking to obtain professional recognition. Additionally, Fun Days offer experiential opportunities for students to explore various sports in a joyful environment. Information regarding schedules and registration is regularly updated on the Student Portal and via student email.

Scholarships and Bursaries
The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is committed to supporting our students and ensuring that those from all backgrounds have access to quality educational resources. Non-local students can check their eligibility for various scholarships and bursaries via the University Website and Student Portal. Additionally, SAO will issue email notifications to students once applications are open.

Counselling services
The Student Affairs Office (SAO) provides counselling services to all students to support their mental wellness and personal growth. Non-local students in need may reserve an appointment through the Student Portal, by phone at 3702 4386,

Cultural Integration
Life Mentorship Program
To help non-local students better understand and integrate into Hong Kong culture, the Student Affairs Office will launch a one-year Life Mentorship Program. The program invites local families or mentors who are well-versed in Hong Kong's culture and community to accompany students as they gain deeper insights into local life. Through community service, mentors will guide students to engage with society, serve with love, and foster a deeper sense of belonging in Hong Kong.

Buddy Programme
To further support cultural integration, the Student Affairs Office will organize a Buddy Programme that pairs non-local students with senior non-local peers to help them navigate campus life and share insights into Hong Kong culture. Various cultural activities and festival gatherings will be organized to facilitate cultural exchange and strengthen relationships among all students. Additionally, monthly group meetings provide a platform for ongoing support and a space to address any questions or concerns.

Mainland Students Seminar on Internship and Academic Advancement
To support Mainland students in pursuing degree studies in Hong Kong, the Student Affairs Office will organize seminars detailing internship policies and career pathways in Hong Kong. These sessions also provide an overview of the current landscape and application routes for progressing to local undergraduate programmes. Additionally, alumni who have successfully established their careers in Hong Kong are invited to share their experiences and provide valuable insights into local professional life.
Accommodation Support
Saint Francis University does not currently provide hostel services. However, the Student Affairs Office (SAO) offers accommodation support for non-local students, including fully furnished hostel services provided through Caritas Hong Kong and other accommodations.
