The Department of Business and Hospitality Management offers a wide range of programmes including an Associate Degree in Business, Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management and Professional Diploma in Property Management. They vary from academic oriented to para professional-based across different disciplines, namely business, hotel, tourism, catering, servicing and property management, with emphasis on ICT applications. These programmes aim at offering different articulation paths in local and overseas institutes for students who intend to pursue their academic advancement or career development after completing their studies. In recognizing the aspiration of working adults for upward mobility, the Department also offers a part-time mode for our ADB.
Our experienced and qualified academic staff coming from various industries are pleased to share their knowledge with students. We offer experiential learning activities in various courses through practical workshops and field trips so as to strengthen students’ awareness of the “Real-world” business operations and hospitality services. In particular, the Department has a wide network with the related industries so that students will have opportunities to gain practical experience through an internship.
