Ally is currently a Lecturer at the Irene Lam Department of Design, Saint Francis University, where she is passionate about nurturing creativity and guiding students as they develop their own artistic voices. With over ten years of experience in the field of art and design, she has worked as both a creative maker and designer in creative agency and auction house. These experiences have allowed her to explore the dynamic relationship between creativity, culture, and industry, which she now brings into her teaching practice.
Deeply appreciating diverse cultural experiences and continually inspired by art, she is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge and professional insights with students. She believes in encouraging curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking, helping students grow with confidence and creativity as they prepare for their own journeys in the design world.
Ally's academic background includes an MSc in Technology, Design and Leadership for Learning from The University of Hong Kong and a BA (Hons) in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London. This combination of design expertise and educational leadership shapes her approach to art and design education, where she strives to create engaging, thoughtful, and inspiring learning environments.
