As a newly established academic unit, it is essential for us to identify our niches and uniqueness so as to stand out from different institutes. One of our strengths lies on the strong support from our sponsoring organization. The solid practice experiences of our teaching team also lay our foundation for the delivery of quality academic programmes. It is our belief that our students should not be just skilled technocrats. Rather, they have to be committed practitioners who are passionate and sensitive to the adverse conditions of the disadvantaged groups. In order to do so, a wide range of learning activities would be employed to facilitate students to interact with the actual context. Students are expected to reflect over life goals in the light of their personal values. Through the concerted effort with various stake-holders, we envision that we will able to develop appropriate programmes that meet the needs of students; thereby creating a new prelude in their future career.
