Upon completion of the Programme, students should be able to:

  1. Illustrate an interdisciplinary knowledge of language, culture and philosophy which can serve as a firm grounding for professional development;
  2. Operate communication competence and ethical conducts in workplace through a soundunderstanding of theoretical knowledge and professional communication skills; 
  3. Articulate practical skills andsubject knowledge in communicating professionally in different settings and cultural contexts; 
  4. Assemble subject knowledge and practical skills of language and philosophy in a variety of cultural contexts including workplace and academic settings;
  5. Appraise different cultural values and demonstrate socially responsible behaviour in various daily life and professional contexts;
  6. Employ generic skills to make judgement and analyse real-world problems.
