The program objectives are:

  1. to help students acquire the state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in information technology (IT) and artificial intelligence (AI), and to practice applying them in multiple useful disciplines;
  2. to nurture AI professionals with expertise and ethical values in designing, planning, and executing solutions to problems/products/services with sound and logical judgments;
  3. to prepare students to contribute to the society in the globally expanding AI job market or to continue with postgraduate study.
