From December 14 to 16, representatives from Saint Francis University's Public Affairs Office (Recruitment and Engagement Team) and Global and Mainland Engagement Division visited Beijing to carry out exchange and recruitment activities. The delegation met with University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation Exchange Centre, and engaged in interactive visits at Beijing New Talent Academy.
In discussions with USTB and the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation Exchange Center, the parties held in‑depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation in education, focusing on core themes such as patriotic education and cultural exchange. A key consensus was reached: the three sides plan to take national flag guard exchange activities as the starting point for long‑term collaboration, while also pursuing short‑term projects such as national education programmes, specialised courses, and faculty‑student visits to deepen the educational ties between Beijing and Hong Kong. At Beijing New Talent Academy, the delegation was warmly received by the school's leadership team, with both sides exchanging views on educational collaboration and student development, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.
This exchange not only deepened Saint Francis University's ties with Beijing institutions but also expanded the scope of educational cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong. The University looks forward to building on this foundation to launch more impactful projects and to write a new chapter in shared educational growth.
