The signing ceremony was held at SFU. Distinguished guests from FJCU included Dr. Tsung-Yu Tsai, Provost and Distinguished Professor; Dr. Wei-Min Liu, Vice President for International and Cross-Strait Affairs and Professor of Chemistry; Professor Ping-Chiang Yeh, Executive Director of the Center for Healthcare Management Development; Mr. Pei-Kuang Chen, President of the Global Alumni Association; and Mr. Meng-Jen Chang, Director and Secretary-General of the Global Alumni Association Office. Yee School of Health Sciences; and Dr.  Aries Chan, Assistant Director of Public Affairs Office (Recruitment and Engagement) and Head of Global and Mainland engagement, along with other representatives.

SFU has long placed special emphasis on internationalisation and holistic student development, with a commitment to cultivating students who embody the qualities of global citizenship. Notably, the S.K. Yee School of Health Sciences at SFU had established academic ties with relevant faculties at FJCU; building on this foundation, the newly signed MoU will further deepen practical cooperation in the field of health sciences, focusing on key areas such as healthcare management and healthcare-related research. Both universities will promote faculty and student exchanges, joint academic projects, and offer more opportunities for students to participate in exchange programmes and practical training at each other's institutions, to foster high-quality talent and advance development in the health sciences for both universities.
