From 28 to 30 March 2026, Saint Francis University ( "SFU"), represented by the Global and Mainland Engagement Division, was invited by the United Front Work Department of the Shanghai Municipal Committee to visit Shanghai for exchange and outreach activities. During the visit, the SFU delegation engaged in dialogue with local universities, and jointly explored future directions for Shanghai–Hong Kong educational cooperation.

On March 29, the SFU representatives visited Shanghai Ivy School and delivered an Information Session on Further Studies, which was attended by more than 30 students and parents. Dr Aries Chan, Head of the Global and Mainland Engagement Division, also offer oneonone advice based on students' interests and academic backgrounds, helping students and parents clearly plan their routes for further study in Hong Kong.

Ms. Wu Jie, Principal of Shanghai Ivy School, commended the Information Session enabled students and parents to gain a better understanding of Hong Kong's higher education system. The professional guidance provided by SFU addressed the core planning concerns of students aspiring to study in Hong Kong, and effectively conveyed SFU's ongoing commitment to promoting the "Study in Hong Kong" policy to both students and parents.

The visit reinforced Shanghai students' and parents' understanding of SFU, and strengthened institutional links between Shanghai and Hong Kong. Looking ahead, SFU will continue visiting cities across Mainland China to promote diverse pathways and opportunities for outstanding students to pursue studies in Hong Kong, and to further strengthen Shanghai–Hong Kong educational exchanges.
