Saint Francis University (SFU) is proud to launch the Cultural Ambassador Programme, a new initiative designed to foster cross-cultural understanding and build a vibrant, inclusive campus community. The programme invites students from all backgrounds who are passionate about cultural exploration and community engagement to take on the meaningful role of Cultural Ambassador.
Led by the Global and Mainland Engagement Division, the initiative aims to empower students to break down cultural barriers, deepen mutual respect, and contribute to a more globally-minded learning environment. As ambassadors, students will actively engage in campus-wide cultural events, workshops, and sharing sessions. They will also receive priority access to groundbreaking new programmes, enhancing their university experience and global perspective.
Ambassadors are expected to serve as role models, fostering understanding through their involvement in both on- and off-campus initiatives. Their responsibilities include promoting the importance of multiculturalism, supporting cultural exchange, and serving as representatives of SFU in external cultural exchanges.

In addition to local campus initiatives, the Cultural Ambassadors also have opportunities to participate in international exchange activities. Recently, a group of ambassadors joined a cultural and technological visit to Wuhan and Xiangyang, deepening their understanding of cross-regional innovation and development. Reflections and photographs from this trip will be shared in an upcoming feature.
Through this programme, SFU aims to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, grow personally, and cultivate friendships that cross cultural boundaries. The initiative also strengthens SFU's mission as a university that celebrates diversity and empowers students to make a meaningful impact in and beyond the classroom.
