Dear Colleagues and Students,

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people's victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression—an important historical moment worthy of our deep remembrance and solemn celebration. Eighty years ago, the Chinese nation, through immense sacrifice and unwavering resolve, achieved a great victory in the war, making a lasting contribution to world peace and justice.

As members of Saint Francis University, we should all remember our history and honor the heroes who came before us, carrying forward the profound spirit of patriotism. We are committed to embedding this spirit into every aspect of our education and work. By fostering close partnerships with institutions in the Mainland and abroad, we aim to promote academic exchange, cultural and knowledge sharing, and cultivate outstanding talents with a strong sense of national identity and a global perspective, and contribute to the prosperity and development of our country.

Let us cherish the hard-won peace, stay true to our path of patriotism and love for Hong Kong, and actively support collaboration and mutual understanding between the Mainland and Hong Kong. May we remain grounded in history while forging ahead, contributing to a new chapter in the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
