Saint Francis University (SFU) is delighted to have signed a donation agreement with the Louis K. Y. Leung Education Foundation (the "Foundation") for a perpetual annual donation of $400,000 to establish three scholarships and one bursary, supporting programmes in healthcare, education, human services, techno-humanities, business, and design.
Mr. Louis Leung Kwong Yoon (梁廣榕), founder of the Foundation, has long been dedicated to supporting education and youth development. Through the Foundation, he and his wife, Mrs. Leung Kao Pui Yee Cynthia (梁高佩儀), collaborate with the Salesians of Don Bosco (鮑思高慈幼會) to recognise secondary school and university students across China, Hong Kong, Macau, and South-East Asian, reflecting their commitment to advancing education, fostering moral development, and empowering young people.
Representing SFU, President Professor Stephen Y. L. Cheung expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the Foundation's philanthropic support, noting that it reflects a shared commitment to advancing education, nurturing moral values, and empowering youth.
SFU is deeply grateful for the steadfast support of the community, which plays a vital role in advancing the University's mission.
