Latest Updates - SFU’s MoU with Golden News to Promote Advance Industry-University Partnership in Hospitality Technology 2026-06-17

Saint Francis University (SFU)'s Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management (SBHM) has officially signed MOU with Golden News Enterprises Limited (Golden News) to deepen industry-academia collaboration in the field of hospitality technology. Both parties will jointly promote applied research and experiential learning, and collaborate on the development of "Virtus", an AI Plus project featuring an artificial intelligence concierge system for the hospitality industry that addresses operational challenges such as manpower shortages and service quality.

Professor Susana Yuen, Dean of SBHM, stated "This partnership exemplifies our commitment to applied education. With strong industry support, we aim to bridge theory and practice by enabling students to learn directly from industry professionals, understand real-world challenges, and develop practical solutions through technology that respond to evolving market needs.
