Students of the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management achieved good results in The 4th Hong Kong Youth Chinese Culture and Tourism Knowledge Competition

Lau Ka Lok, a Year 1 student of the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Applied Hotel and Tourism Management programme of the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management, participated in The 4th Hong Kong Youth Chinese Culture and Tourism Knowledge Competition organised by the Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group, and won the first runner-up in the final of the tertiary group's individual competition after finishing second in the preliminary round.

In addition, Lau Ka Lok, team up with other Year 1 students of the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Applied Hotel and Tourism Management Programme, including Tsang Ho Yan, Leung Yeung Yeung Sum and Lo Chi Ching, won the Merit Award in the Tertiary Students Group Team Competition. The competition was judged by renowned experts and scholars from Hong Kong and Mainland China. The content of the competition covered cultural and tourism knowledge such as natural geography, humanities and history of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, and was presented in multi-media formats such as text, pictures and videos. The competition attracted more than 230 schools and 8,500 students, and received overwhelming response.
