Core Areas of Expertise
Dr Cho's expertise centres on empirical research on the wellbeing of children and young people, with particular attention to comparative child wellbeing and child benefits, child poverty, social inequalities affecting ethnic minority youth, as well as immobility (non-migration) decisions and the wellbeing of younger stayers in migration contexts. She employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to inform social policy and inclusive practices.
