Career Centre successfully held the SFU X CBCC Career Fair 2025 from 31 March to 1 April 2025. This event brought together 84 companies from various industries, attracting a large number of students to participate over the two-day fair.。

Career Workshop: Printed Production 101

The workshop was held by Sense Production Limited on 1st November 2024. It was interactive and hands-on, using real samples to introduce students to printed materials. It covered essential printing knowledge such as requesting quotes, printing materials, printing methods, post-processing options, and more.

First Aid Training

The first-aid course was taught by Hong Kong Red Cross from 21 September 2024 to 12 October 2024. Basic first-aid skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, methods to stop bleeding, and treatment of common first-aid situations such as fractures and burns were learnt from the course. Moreover, student learnt to adapt to different emergency scenarios and work effectively with medical staff.

Career Fair 2024

Career Centre held the SFU X CBCC Career Fair 2024 on April 15-16. We have invited 79 companies from different industries and fields to participate in our events. Career Centre also held 6 career training workshops and 14 career talks for the students.

The first-aid course was taught by St John Ambulance from 10 January 2024 to 13 February 2024. Student Helper Programme 2023/2024 Opening Ceremony

Student Helper Programme 2023 Opening Ceremony was successfully held on October 27and October 30. During the ceremony, students had the opportunity to get to know each other through various games and activities. After the event, all participants officially became student assistants, and they will have the chance to serve different schools and departments.

Social Science Recruitment Day 2023

Social Science Recruitment Day held on June 1 and June 8. More than 10 employers participated in the Social Science Recruitment Day.
The participated employers were (listed in no particular order): Caritas Rehabilitation Service,  Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, HK Playground Association (YND service), Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Red Cross John F. Kennedy Centre, Po Leung Kuk, SAGE, SideBySide, Social Welfare Department, Stewards Social Service Branch, The Salvation Army, The Friends of Scouting and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals etc.

Ocean Park Career Discovery Tour

Disneyland Open House for Dream Makers

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hosted the Disney Open House, a first-of-a-kind in-park career development and job recruitment expo aimed at showcasing HKDL's various opportunities. The Career Centre led a group of students to participated this event.

Volunteer Training & Service by Social Welfare Department X Career Centre
