Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS)

One major external source of funding is the QESS under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund. The scheme aims to promote quality enhancement of the self-financing post-secondary sector. Our University, SFU, and our sister College, CBCC, had great history in acquiring the fund and enhance our quality in teaching and learning. CfE played a key role in the coordination among different Units in grant application, project implementation and sustainability.

Quality Enhancement Grant Scheme (QEGS)

Before QESS, EDB had a pilot scheme, QEGS, to support the quality enhancement of institutions in our sector in 2009 to 2011. SFU (formerly known as Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) /as Caritas Francis Hsu College) also acquired the funds and enhance our teaching and learning quality.
