The functions and cross-functions of the Planning Office are listed below:

  1. To support the institute in strategic planning, key performance indicators (KPIs) monitoring, organisational effectiveness, and monitoring of the environmental and higher education landscape changes
  2. To collate data on key surveys (e.g., course evaluation survey on all students, programme evaluation survey on final-year students, and graduate destination survey); and to provide needs analysis and benchmarking data for new academic programmes, and programmes due for re-accreditation
  3. To work with academic schools to develop and monitor annual operational plans that incorporate student recruitment, research, staffing, risk registers and financial elements
  4. To support in student admission and enrolment data analysis, timetabling exercise, and identify space management priorities
