Functions
The functions and cross-functions of the Planning Office are listed below:
- To support the institute in strategic planning, key performance indicators (KPIs) monitoring, organisational effectiveness, and monitoring of the environmental and higher education landscape changes
- To collate data on key surveys (e.g., course evaluation survey on all students, programme evaluation survey on final-year students, and graduate destination survey); and to provide needs analysis and benchmarking data for new academic programmes, and programmes due for re-accreditation
- To work with academic schools to develop and monitor annual operational plans that incorporate student recruitment, research, staffing, risk registers and financial elements
- To support in student admission and enrolment data analysis, timetabling exercise, and identify space management priorities
