Biography

Mr William Yuan is a senior Lecturer in the Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management at St. Francis University. Mr. Yuan is a professional specialising in teaching food and beverage management, quality service excellence, MICE management, and kitchen operations management, with over 20 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry and in the discipline of teaching.

Before Mr Yuan joined Saint Francis University, he held managerial positions at various international hotels and resorts, including Marriott International, InterContinental Hotel Group, MGM, and Artyzen Group, etc., in addition to his academic teaching field. He successfully led teams in enhancing food and service quality, developing sustainable training and talent development programmes, and achieving significant results in food and beverage management and operation, event and convention sales & operations, and front office operations within the hospitality sector.

Mr Yuan holds an Executive Master's Degree from Murdoch University (Australia) and a Postgraduate Diploma from the London Examinations Board (UK). He graduated in hotel and tourism management from Cezar Ritz (Switzerland), and holds certificates in fine culinary, chocolate, and pastry from the Culinary Art Academy (Switzerland)..
