This educational initiative will introduce secondary school students to fundamental deep learning concepts through an immersive learning experience. Activities will include:

CIS is honored to have Huawei representatives : Alex Wong (Deputy CEO), Enzo Tsang (Sales Manager) and Shannon Pang (Marketing Specialist) to visit our school on 15 April 2025 to discuss collaboration opportunities for the Huawei ICT Academy and competitions. CIS is inivted to co-organise and support Huawei ICT competition in future.
Our School arranged a AI Laboratory visit for UGC members on 26 March 2025. Prof. Wan-Chi Siu served as representative of CIS to introduce our research projects to the UGC members.
Our School and our students have been invited to participate in the Huawei ICT Competition and Awards Ceremony.
Our School offers an innovative STEM education programme for secondary students, where secondary school students learn engineering principles through designing robotic "dancing cockroaches" using vibration theory. This hands-on project combines physics and robotics to demonstrate practical applications of scientific concepts.

Mr. Paul HODGSON organised the IEEE YE-24 conference on November 2024, the conference aims to promote STEM to secondary school students, providing them recognition through participation certifications and opportunities for publication of their results in STEM projects.
Prof. Wan-Chi SIU has been invited to serve as the keynote speaker for the IEEE TryEngineering workshop in July 2024. This workshop aims to teach fundamental deep learning concepts to secondary school students. Participants will engage in hands-on projects using our institution's self-developed application to create their own digital artwork, as well as visit a semiconducter company "ASMPT".

Mr. Paul Hodgson organized a one-day ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) workshop for secondary school students. Participants learned to build underwater ROVs and had the opportunity to test their creations in a mini swimming pool, combining hands-on learning with practical fun.
