1. Introduction

The Saint Francis Scholarshipfor Talented Catholic Youth is designed to attract high-calibre students with financial need to enroll in SFU's full-time programmes. The scholarship encourages motivated students to pursue higher education at SFU at the point of admission

2. Objectives

Empower aspiring catholic citizens to achieve upward social and economic mobility while enhancing their prospects for future career advancement.
Provide catholic citizens with the opportunity to pursue academic studies at SFU in Hong Kong with scholarship support.
Attract and cultivate talent by enrolling students in healthcare, education, artificial intelligence and advanced technologies, humanities, business and hospitality management, social sciences, and design.

3. Scholarship Details

The scholarship provides a one‑off studentship of HKD 20,000 to each successful applicant, supporting their studies in the programme they enroll in at SFU.

i) Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Be a practicing Catholic
Have received an offer of admission to a full-time programme
Demonstrate good academic standing in previous studies and an aspiration for upward mobility

Application Deadline: The scholarship accepts applications year‑round, with five quotas available annually
