教学人员职位

1. Lead the research, scholarly, and professional development activities of the School concerned, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and goals of the University;
2. Produce high-impact research output in line with international standards and enhance the research culture of the University;
3. Initiate and collaborate with local and overseas institutions on research projects;
4. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior faculty and postdoctoral researchers to foster professional development and research skills;
5. Act in an advisory role to participate in the assessment and evaluation of academic programmes, research activities, and research staff performance to ensure quality and continuous improvement;
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the President.

1. A PhD degree in related discipline;
2. Substantial experience in research and publications at the Professor level in a local and/ or overseas university;
3. A strong educational background with a well-established network in the local industry and educational sector;
4. Excellent interpersonal and management skills, along with a proven track record of substantial research experience in higher education, particularly in SFU's selected themes and clusters;
5. A recognized record of high-impact research output, professional recognition of research excellence, and demonstrated leadership in research, including success in securing major external competitive research grants.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the degree and/ or sub-degree levels in the following areas:

•  Health Care / Sciences
• Nursing Studies
• Pharmaceutical Dispensing

Applicants should have an earned and recognised Master's degree in relevant disciplines.  Preference will be given to those with Doctoral degree and teaching experience in degree / higher diploma programmes. A good command of English and Chinese is required.

1. Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
2. ⁠Undertake duties in course/ programme/ curriculum review and development;
3. Conduct research that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals;
4. Engage in high-level consultancy, and other scholarly activities;
5. Perform academic and administrative duties; and
6. Perform any other Responsibilities and Tasks as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegate.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at sub-degree, undergraduate, and/or postgraduate levels in more than one subject area in addition to undertaking scholarly/research activities and programme/course administration.

For Assistant Professor, applicants should have (a) a PhD or other recognised doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; and (b) relevant teaching/professional experience. Preference will be given to those who have a good record in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, experience in programme management and accreditation, and a proven research record. Applicants may be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or above depending on research record, experience, and qualifications.

For Senior Lecturer, a Master's degree and professional membership in Hong Kong or overseas will be considered as appropriate for the particular disciplines.

A good command of English is required and proficiency in Chinese is preferable.

In addition to the above, applicants should have at least three years of supervisory or managerial industry experience.
