Duties
  1. Provide support for teaching, research and service to the School of Health Sciences in the nursing and other health-care courses.
  2. Follow school directions for nursing skills laboratory station set-up and aftercare of supplies/equipment in all teaching, skills assessment and students' self-practice
  3. Assist in the setting up, operation and maintenance of the equipment required for teaching / learning activities including manikins, simulation models, patient-care equipment and other computing / audio visual facilities.
  4. Maintain inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure equipment are in good condition and supplies are adequate.
  5. Maintain the daily operation of the nursing skills laboratories and ensure a safe and clean condition in all work areas.

Duties
  1. Conduct coaching, teaching and assessment to nursing students on delivery of patient care in clinical / laboratory settings such as hospital or clinic and communicate with clinical staff to create optimal clinical experiences for the students;
  2. Evaluate nursing students in clinical / laboratory settings and provide feedback to the students on their performance;
  3. Advise nursing students on clinical and educational problems by providing professional insight using personal nursing experiences, helping students solve problems on their own, as well as strengthening the educational experience for students;
  4. The appointee may work under different schedules due to specific operational requirements, including weekday evenings and weekends.
