The appointee will be responsible to assist with the administrative duties and conduction of the research project. Tasks include: (a) literature review; (b) making arrangement to ensure a smooth research study; (c) collecting data and conducting data analysis; (d) preparing publications and reports; and (e) performing other assigned duties.

Applicants should have (i) a bachelor's degree or above in health sciences or healthcare-related disciplines; (ii) 3-4 years of research experience and knowledge of mixed-methods research and survey design; (iii) knowledge in public health, community health and primary healthcare; (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and (v) good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.  Those with 3 years' relevant experience or more may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant.

The appointee is mainly required to assist in an innovative research project entitled 'Alternative Storylines: Developing an AI-Enabled Narrative Therapy App to transform identity of Young Adults with Special Educational Needs'. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, the Co-investigators and the team in conducting the research tasks, including: (a) reviewing literature; (b) conducting needs assessment; (c) coordinating the software developers in creating the application; (d) collecting and analyzing quantitative data; (e) data arranging and conducting in-depth interviews; (f) compiling research reports and journal articles; (g) handling relevant administrative tasks, and (h) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants for Senior Research Assistant should (i) have a recognised Master's degree or above in Education / Applied Research / Applied Psychology / Statistics / Social Work/ Computer or Data Science; (ii) with at least 3 years of relevant research experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, a track record of publications will be considered an advantage; (iii) familiar with procedures of research adopting randomized controlled trial and/or mixed-methods; (iv) be able to work independently, have an investigative nature and an analytical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to synthesize research into clear, compelling outputs; and (v) have good communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

Applicants for Research Assistant should (i) have a recognised Bachelor's degree or above in Education / Applied Research / Applied Psychology / Statistics / Social Work/ Computer or Data Science; (ii) have relevant research experience and knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research, (iii) be able to work independently, have an investigative nature and an analytical aptitude, attention to detail; (iv) familiar with procedures of analyzing quantitative data and conducting in-depth interviews; and (v) have good communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

Preference will be given to those with experience in research implementing AI technologies in social/educational settings, mixed-method research, and/or research interests in special educational needs, narrative therapy, mental health, and interdisciplinary studies.

The appointee is mainly required to assist in an innovative research project entitled 'Alternative Storylines: Developing an AI-Enabled Narrative Therapy App to transform identity of Young Adults with Special Educational Needs'

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator, the Co-investigators and the team in conducting the research tasks, including: (a) collaborate with the team and data scientist to design user-cantered interfaces aligned with therapeutic goals; (b) create wireframes, prototypes, and design systems that prioritize accessibility, inclusivity, and ease of use for diverse SEN populations; (c) practical front‑end development experience for a cross‑platform (iOS & Android) audio chatbot application, supporting switchable voice and text interaction; (d) ensure seamless integration of AI-driven narrative features into the app's user experience; (d) conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback from young adult users, caregivers, and practitioners; (e) contribute to project documentation and support proposal development by articulating design strategies and impact; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants for Research Assistant should (i) an honours degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related disciplines; (ii) experience in system development, integration and solution implementation; (iii) be able to work independently, have an investigative nature and an analytical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to synthesize research into clear, compelling outputs; and (iv) have good communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

Applicants with 3 years or more of relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Senior Research Assistant. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in phone app development and/or chatbot design, as well as those whose research interests include broader field of AI and technology in social and educational settings.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator and the research team to support the research project. Duties include literature review, data collection and analysis, project management, report and manuscript writing and other related responsibilities as required. The appointee should be able to work independently and communicate in English and Chinese.

Applicants should possess at least a bachelor's degree in social science or relevant disciplines, with proficiency in SPSS/R/Python and other computer software, have knowledge and research skills in both quantitative and qualitative research, and/or have relevant research experience.

Appointment will be made on contract basis, which can be renewed thereafter subject to funds available.

The appointees will be responsible for various tasks relating to the Chinese culture project, which include (a) coordinating research design; (b) overseeing data collection and analysis; (c) writing academic publications and reports; (d) editing book series and academic journals; (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (a) a doctoral degree in the humanities or relevant fields; (b) 3-4 years of research experience and knowledge of qualitative research; (c) strong background in research; (d) ability to work independently; (e) proficiency in writing in English and Chinese; (f) proficiency in communication and presentation skills.

The appointees will (a) assist the work of painting, drawing, animation, video production, and photography relating to the Chinese culture project; (b) assist the work of data collection and analysis; and (c) perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (a) a bachelor's degree or master's degree in the humanities or relevant fields; (b) knowledge and skills of computer graphics; and (c) have good communication skills and sense of responsibility.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators under Caregiving Research and Development Centre. His/her task will include (i) event planning and management; (ii) assisting in drafting operational manuals, training materials, powerpoints, forms, templates and reports; (iii) assisting in video shooting, editing and drafting subtitles; (iv) arranging and assisting to conduct interviews & focus groups as well as designing survey questionnaires and collecting quantitative data; (v) conducting data analysis of the verbatim transcription with software e.g., Nvivo and/or quantitative data with SPSS; (v) drafting research manuscripts and other presentation materials for presentation/publication in conferences/journals; (vi) performing other tasks as assigned.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree, preferably with a Master's/MPhil degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline; (ii) rich experiences in event planning and management; (iii) solid training and experience in research methods and data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative; (iv) excellent English and Chinese proficiency; (v) a minimum of two years of relevant research experience.

The appointee is mainly required to assist in a 5-year innovative service-research project entitled 'Meta-S: An Integrative Psychosocial Study and Service Outcome Evaluation for Students with Special Educational Needs'. The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator the Co-investigators and the team in conducting the research tasks, including: (a) reviewing literature; (b) arranging and conducting in-depth interviews; (c) analyzing quantitative data; (d) compiling research reports; (e) handling relevant administrative tasks, and (f) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should (i) have a recognised Bachelor's degree or above in Education / Applied Research / Applied Psychology / Statistics / Social Work; (ii) have relevant research experience and knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research, (iii) be able to work independently, have an investigative nature, attention to detail, and an analytical aptitude; (iv) familiar with procedures of conducting in-depth interviews and with analyzing quantitative data; and (v) have good communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

The appointee will be responsible (a) arranging and assisting to conduct interviews & focus groups as well as collecting quantitative data; (b) collecting data and conducting data analysis; (c) assisting in drafting operational manuals, training materials, forms, templates and reports; and (d) performing other assigned duties.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a Master's/MPhil degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) have experience in statistical data; (iii) be able to work independently; (iv) have good communication and interpersonal skills; and (v) have good English writing skills. Applicants with publication experience are preferred.

The appointee will be responsible (a) collect and analyze data to evaluate the performance of the wet electrostatic precipitators and propose improvements; (b) contribute to the publication of research findings in scientific journals and present results at conferences; (c) work closely with the project lead and team members to ensure the project's objectives are met; and (d) assist in the supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students involved in the project.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) have experience in statistical data; (iii) be able to work independently; (iv) have good communication and interpersonal skills; and (v) have good English writing skills. Applicants with publication experience are preferred.

The appointee will assist in the research project on: (a) collecting data and pre-processing them for analysis; (b) analyzing the data; (c) projecting trends with concrete figures based on the statistics and the analysis; (d) managing and updating data; (e) preparing reports; and (f) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (a) a Master's degree from a recognized university, preferable if in an interdisciplinary field; (b) with a track record of research and publication; (c) solid research experience; (d) excellent communication and interpersonal skills; (e) positive attitude and ability to work on diverse materials related to the project; (f) proficiency in both written and spoken English; and (g) proficiency in computer applications.

Three appointees will be appointed for three different disciplines respectively (i.e., Accounting & Finance / Corporate Administration; Entrepreneurship / Management; Hotel & Tourism / Marketing). Each of them will be responsible to assist administrative and coordinating work for the research project. Tasks include: (a) conducting literature review; (b) collecting data and conducting data analysis; (c) managing and updating existing databases; (d) preparing reports; and (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have (a) a recognised Bachelor's degree or above; (b) relevant research experience in the handling of data analysis and good knowledge such as SPSS, SQL and MS Access; (c) good at communication and interpersonal skill; (d) positive attitude with good team spirit; (e) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (f) proficiency in computer applications.

Research Assistant: the appointee will be responsible to assist various tasks for the research projects. Tasks include: (a) conducting literature review; (b) collecting and data analyzing; (c) preparing reports; (d) writing and contributing to publications; (e) performing other duties as assigned.

Research Fellow / Research Associate: the appointee will be responsible various tasks for the research projects. Tasks include: (a) coordinating research design, (b) liaising with industrial parties and institutions; (c) organizing seminars and workshops; (d) overseeing data collection, analysis and management; (e) writing academic publications and reports; (f) editing book series, newsletter and journal; (g) teaching courses in the humanities; (h) performing other duties as assigned.

Research Assistant: Applicants should have a) a bachelor's degree or master's degree in relevant fields; b) familiarity with database management tools (such as SQL, MS Access, etc.); (c) knowledge of programming tools (such as Python and C++) would be a plus; d) have good communication skills and sense of responsibility.

Research Associate / Research Fellow: Applicants should have a) a doctoral degree in the humanities, computer science or other related disciplines; b) strong background in research methodology; (c) able to work independently; d) proficiency in writing and speaking in English and Chinese; (e) have good communication and presentation skills.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
