Dr Andrew Low Yiu Tsang

背景简介

罗博士是社会科学院的副教授。在加入圣方济各大学之前，他是香港城市大学（城大）的助理教授。在 2010 年投身社会工作教育之前，罗博士曾在香港多个不同机构担任注册社工 17 年，包括学校社会工作、热线辅导服务、儿童及青少年中心服务和综合儿童和青少年中心的中心负责人。他还担任了四年的私人执业社工，主要在香港多所中小学提供家长教育、领袖培训计划等。他还为社区提供家庭治疗、婚姻谘询和个人谘询。

教学

在城市大学曾任教社工硕士及学士课程，包括：学校社会工作、小组工作、社会工作评估及研究，社会工作反思、香港社会福利服务、管理及督导课，亲职教育课程，亦同时督博士研究生。罗博士亦为实习课程统筹及社工海外交流统筹。

研究

罗博士的主要研究兴趣是评估预防性介入服务。这包括减少亲子冲突的家长教育计划、亲子冲突及其对青少年发展的影响、校本预防自杀计划、校本积极青少年发展计划等领域。在政策层面，他目前正在评估"学前机构社会工作服务试点"，已经影响了政府在22/23年财政年度将该服务规范化的政策。他还完成了一项关于社会运动中亲子冲突的程度和性质的研究。他已经完成了诸如评估青少年和儿童在学校环境中的认知行为计划以减少他们的焦虑问题的研究；以学校为基础的育儿计划，以减少父母与青少年的冲突；校本预防自杀计划的有效性等。目前他正与非政府组织合作，研究学前儿童"游戏疗法"的有效性，以减少遭受家庭暴力或虐待儿童后对儿童发展的负面影响。
