冯家宜现为明爱专上学院社会科学院的助理教授。从香港浸会大学取得社会学学士及硕士学位后,便于加拿大的University of Saskatchewan获取社会学博士学位。她的研究范畴包括社会网络、照顾者的社会支持及资讯科技。现时正参与一个关于电子游戏如何影响中年及老年玩家的社会网络的合作研究。
