背景簡介

我於香港大學、英國華威大學、及澳洲悉尼大學分別取得社會科學學士、文學碩士、及博士學位。

我出版的一本有關企業網絡和工業升級的著作，促使我有機會參與一些國際組織活動。我參加了國際勞工組織（ILO) 及日本勞工政策及訓練學院（JILPT) 舉辦的國際會議 , 也成為聯合國轄下的科學、科技、及創新工作小組的成員。

案例研究是我常用的研究方法之一，用以探討一些適合的研究課題。我曾用研究案例發展為教學案例，其中兩個教學案例取得在香港舉辦的區域案例寫作比賽的獎項。

我是英國CIPD和香港人力資源管理協會的會員；也曾受聘為台灣中華經濟研究院中國大陸所 (第一研究所) 的項目研究員。

教學

我曾在香港理工大學，澳洲Edith Cowan大學，及香港公開大學 （現名為香港都會大學 ）任教。 曾教授的科目包括人力資源管理、 管理學、 和組織行為等等。 我曾任DBA，人力資源管理，及管理學的課程主任；也曾參與發展與管理學相關的遙距及E-learning 課程。

研究

我的研究課題包括全球價值鏈，企業網絡，僱傭關係，及人力資源管理等。曾參與跨國的比較研究計劃，了解全球化對銀行業和低成本航空業聘請員工的制度的影響。現時的研究興趣包括可持續的人力資源管理及企業家生態系系統等課題。
