• Conduct coaching, teaching and assessment to nursing students on delivery of patient care in clinical / laboratory settings such as hospital or clinic and communicate with clinical staff to create optimal clinical experiences for the students;
• Evaluate nursing students in clinical / laboratory settings and provide feedback to the students on their performance;
• Advise nursing students on clinical and educational problems by providing professional insight using personal nursing experiences, helping students solve problems on their own, as well as strengthening the educational experience for students;
• The appointee may work under different schedules due to specific operational requirements, including weekday evenings and weekends.

• A relevant Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other academic qualifications which are deemed to be equivalent;
• Have a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate (General / Psychiatric) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
• At least 3 years' relevant post-registration clinical experience ; and
• Preferably with teaching experience.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at sub-degree, undergraduate, and/or postgraduate levels in more than one subject area in addition to undertaking scholarly/research activities and programme/course administration.

For Assistant Professor, applicants should have (a) a PhD or other recognised doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; and (b) relevant teaching/professional experience. Preference will be given to those who have a good record in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, experience in programme management and accreditation, and a proven research record. Applicants may be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or above depending on research record, experience, and qualifications.

For Senior Lecturer, a Master's degree and professional membership in Hong Kong or overseas will be considered as appropriate for the particular disciplines.

A good command of English is required and proficiency in Chinese is preferable.

In addition to the above, applicants should have at least three years of supervisory or managerial industry experience. 

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the degree and/or sub-degree levels in related areas.

Applicants should have (i) a recognised Master degree in relevant disciplines; and (ii) relevant teaching / professional experience. Preference will be given to those with doctoral degree having teaching experience in degree programmes/ proven research record. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required for the particular profession.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the degree and/ or sub-degree levels in related areas.

Applicants should have (i) an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines (Master's degree holders will be considered for the post at Lecturer grade); and (ii) relevant teaching/ professional experience.  Preference will be given to those with experience in curriculum design, programme development and management. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required as appropriate for the particular profession.

1. Lead the research, scholarly, and professional development activities of the School concerned, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and goals of the University;
2. Produce high-impact research output in line with international standards and enhance the research culture of the University;
3. Initiate and collaborate with local and overseas institutions on research projects;
4. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior faculty and postdoctoral researchers to foster professional development and research skills;
5. Act in an advisory role to participate in the assessment and evaluation of academic programmes, research activities, and research staff performance to ensure quality and continuous improvement;
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by the President.

1. A PhD degree in related discipline;
2. Substantial experience in research and publications at the Professor level in a local and/ or overseas university;
3. A strong educational background with a well-established network in the local industry and educational sector;
4. Excellent interpersonal and management skills, along with a proven track record of substantial research experience in higher education, particularly in SFU's selected themes and clusters;
5. A recognized record of high-impact research output, professional recognition of research excellence, and demonstrated leadership in research, including success in securing major external competitive research grants.

1. Undertake teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
2. ⁠Undertake duties in course/ programme/ curriculum review and development;
3. Conduct research that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals;
4. Engage in high-level consultancy, and other scholarly activities;
5. Perform academic and administrative duties; and
6. Perform any other Responsibilities and Tasks as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegate.
