教學人員職位

Applicants should have (i) an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines (Master's degree holders will be considered for the post at Lecturer grade); and (ii) relevant teaching/ professional experience.  Preference will be given to those with experience in curriculum design, programme development and management. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required as appropriate for the particular profession.

1. To plan, set up and expand a physiotherapy service at the Practice Clinic of the Integrated Clinical Education Centre (ICEC).
2. To provide physiotherapy service to patients and clients.
3. To undertake a clinical educator role to undergraduate physiotherapy students at the Practice Clinic.
4. To facilitate research activities at the Practice Clinic.
5. To promote the development of the ICEC.
6. To take up duties as assigned by the Dean, School of Health Sciences, or his associates.

1. A post-qualification academic or professional degree at Master level in physiotherapy or in other related fields.
2. Be registered as a Physiotherapist in Part Ia of the Register of Physiotherapists under the Supplementary Medical Professions Ordinance.
3. Possess a valid Practicing Certificate issued by the Physiotherapists Board, Hong Kong.
4. Practised as a Physiotherapist I or equivalent post for at least 5 years and possessed relevant postgraduate experience.
   

For Assistant Professor, applicants should have (a) a PhD or other recognised doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; and (b) relevant teaching/professional experience. Preference will be given to those who have a good record in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, experience in programme management and accreditation, and a proven research record. Applicants may be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or above depending on research record, experience, and qualifications.

For Senior Lecturer, a Master's degree and professional membership in Hong Kong or overseas will be considered as appropriate for the particular disciplines.

A good command of English is required and proficiency in Chinese is preferable. 

In addition to the above, applicants should have at least three years of supervisory or managerial industry experience.
