For Assistant Professors, applicants should have:

• An earned and recognised doctoral degree;
• Demonstrated potential for developing or applying knowledge through conducting research independently and publishing in "peer-reviewed" journals;
• Demonstrated potential for making contributions towards enhancing the quality of teaching and learning, such as innovative curriculum design and development, improvement in course/programme coordination, development of good teaching practices, etc;
• Typically a Registered Nurse/ Registered Physiotherapist/ Registered Pharmacist with at least 5 years' relevant post-registration experience; and
• Preferably with over 5 years' teaching experience at the degree level.

For Senior Lecturer/ Lecturer, applicants should have:

• An earned and recognised Doctoral degree; or
• A relevant Master's degree with at least 3-5 years' post-qualification professional, teaching and administrative experience in a higher education institution; and
• Typically a Registered Nurse/ Registered Physiotherapist/ Registered Pharmacist with at least 3-5 years' relevant post-registration experience.

For Assistant Lecturer, applicants should have:

• A relevant Master's degree; and
• Typically a Registered Nurse/ Registered Physiotherapist/ Registered Pharmacist.

Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in degree / higher diploma programmes.
A good command of English and Chinese is required.

Appointment will be made at the rank of Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, or Lecturer, commensurate with qualifications, professional experience, teaching achievements, and research profile.

Appointees will be responsible for teaching MA courses in the following areas:

Bioethics, Applied Ethics, Technology Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Christian Ethics, Theology, Chinese Religions, Comparative Religion, Educational Ethics, Global Ethics and Spiritual Studies.

Applicants should have

• preferably a doctoral degree in the listed areas; and
• relevant teaching experience.

Appointees will be responsible for teaching MA courses in Ethics and Religion.

For Assistant Professor, applicants should have (a) a PhD or other recognised doctoral degree in a relevant discipline; and (b) relevant teaching/professional experience. Preference will be given to those who have a good record in teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes, especially with experience in AI applications for teaching and assessments, also experience in programme management and accreditation, and a proven research record. Applicants may be considered for the rank of Associate Professor or above depending on research record, experience, and qualifications.

For Senior Lecturer, a Master's degree and professional membership in Hong Kong or overseas will be considered as appropriate for the particular disciplines.

A good command of English is required and proficiency in Chinese (Putonghua) is preferable.

In addition to the above, applicants should have at least three years of supervisory or managerial industry experience.

The appointee will be responsible for teaching General Education courses at degree/sub-degree (Higher Diploma / Associate Degree) / diploma levels in the following areas:

• Philosophy
• Humanities
• Cultural Studies
• General Education

Applicants should have (i) an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines (Master's degree holders will be considered for the post at Lecturer grade); and (ii) relevant teaching/ professional experience.  Preference will be given to those with experience in curriculum design, programme development and management. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required as appropriate for the particular profession.

• The appointee will be responsible for teaching at the sub-degree levels in related areas.
• The appointee will coordinate and develop study programmes in close cooperation with academic staff.
• The appointee will take up academic and administrative duties such as maintenance of quality academic standards, liaison with the professional bodies and other educational institutions concerning the study programmes offered, act as student advisor and supervisor to groups as well as individual students, activate inter-departmental and inter-institutional collaboration and networking, allocation/requisition of resource and collection of students' feedback/suggestions on the study programmes, etc.

Applicants should (i) an earned and recognised Master's degree in relevant disciplines; (ii) relevant teaching / professional experience; and a good command of English and Chinese is required.

Preference will be given to those with teaching experience in degree programmes / proven research record. Professional registration in Hong Kong or overseas is required as appropriate for the particular profession.

• Lead and participate in the planning, review, and development of academic programmes and courses in Film and Creative Entertainment Programme..
• Conduct research in the relevant discipline and related areas that leads to publications in top-tier refereed journals;
• Engage in industrial and community partnership engagement and other scholarly and professional activities;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School, the Provost and the President

• A PhD or an earned and recognized doctoral degree with strong academic and professional qualifications in their field, or a related discipline;
• Substantial relevant research, teaching, and industrial experience, with recognized expertise and a demonstrated, proven track record of active research, publications, and scholarly activities in
• Demonstrated academic leadership through planning, managing and evaluating academic programmes, research and scholarship activities, and industrial partnerships in their respective areas.

• Lead and participate in the planning, review, and development of academic programmes and courses in Design Programme.
