Duties

Saint Francis University plays a vital role in shaping the future of their students, not just academically but also in fostering overall health and wellness. A university nurse will be responsible to the following duties:

  1. To provide first aid for minor injuries, illnesses, and routine health checks, and emergency management;
  2. To implement wellness programs that educate students and staff about healthy lifestyles, nutrition, sexual health, and disease prevention, contributing to a healthy campus;

Duties

The appointee will be attached to the Finance and Estates Office of the University and will assist with the following duties:

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

Assistant Manager (Student Recruitment and Engagement Team), Public Affairs Office (Ref: 26/36/PAO/AM)
Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the School's engagement with external stakeholders, including feeder schools, prospective students, alumni, university partners, and the broader community.

The appointee will support the Assistant Director, Recruitment and Engagement at the Public Affairs Office in leading admissions and partnership development for the local market. The appointee will lead recruitment and partnership initiatives to strengthen collaboration between the University and Hong Kong Secondary Schools, including organising information sessions for principals and teachers, conducting school visits to enhance recruitment, and hosting networking events for external stakeholders. Duties The Public Affairs Office (PAO) manages the promotion and public relations activities of the institute including admission and recruitment, branding and marketing, media and public relations, and other public affairs. The PAO plans and implements policies, guidelines, and processes for these activities, oversees resource allocation, and monitors the production and quality of promotional materials. Manager (Infrastructure Support), Information Technology Services Centre (Ref: 25/158/ITSC/M)
Duties The appointee will be responsible for assisting the Director, ITSC, for managing the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology Services Centre (ITSC): (i) managing and delivering infrastructure ensuring sound architecture, reliability, technology and function across network, servers, storage, database, application platform and end user equipment; (ii) providing end user help desk and support services on all IT services; (iii) providing on-call support to ensure systems availability in accordance to target service level; (iv) directing, implementing and overseeing standard IT practices, which include: Computer Operations, Backups, Information Security Safeguards, System and Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Upgrades and Enhancements; (v) liaising with vendors to deliver various IT projects; and (vi) undertaking such other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Appointment Criteria Applicants should have: (i) a recognised postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) at least 10 years' relevant experience, preferably in a similar position in local/ overseas higher education institutions; (iii) sound technical background, a generalist of IT technologies and also a specialist on core technologies; (iv) strong team and vendor management; (v) good communication and problem solving skills; and (vi) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Executive Assistant, Registry (Ref: 25/155/REG/EA)
Duties The appointee is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support in the Registry with a focus on student services and records. He/ She will assist the supervisor by working closely with the Administrative Officer to support members on various student-related matters, including, but not limited to, student records management, timetabling, and examination arrangements. Additionally, the appointee will be required to handle counter and hotline enquiries. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by the Registrar or other reporting officers.
Appointment Criteria Applicants for the post of Executive Assistant II should possess a sub-degree qualification in any discipline, with at least 1 year's relevant work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution or in the education sector. They should demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and possess strong communication skills. A pleasant, polite, and approachable personality is essential, alongside computer literacy and the ability to work independently while managing tight deadlines effectively. Ideal candidates should be good team players with a strong sense of responsibility, attentive to details, and the ability to multitask efficiently.

Applicants with more experience may be considered for Executive Assistant I. Fresh graduates with a good academic background will also be considered.

Assistant Registrar, Registry (Ref: 25/133/REG/AR)
Duties Reporting to the Registrar, the appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting the Registrar in planning, coordinating, and overseeing key administrative functions of the timetabling and academic regulations team; (b) leading and supervising the team to ensure effective support for the operation of designated work areas; (c) managing record-related tasks to ensure the accurate collection, maintenance, and communication of student academic records and performance data; (d) preparing statistical reports relevant to the Registry's operations; (e) developing and implementing academic regulations; (f) managing the timetabling process; (g) contributing to the production of Registry-related publications; (h) liaising with various stakeholders as needed to fulfill responsibilities effectively; and (i) enhancing and optimizing operational procedures through the use of advanced technologies and systems.
Appointment Criteria Applicants should (a) hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably a Master's degree, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant full-time post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a higher education setting; (b) demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills; (c) possess excellent communication abilities with a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; (d) exhibit a proven capacity to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines, while managing multiple tasks in an organized manner; and (e) demonstrate effective teamwork skills, be self-motivated, and capable of performing well under pressure. Preference will be given to applicants with experience working in the Registry of local tertiary education institutions.
