Assistant/ Associate Director, Student Affairs Office (Ref: 24/117/SAO/AD)
Duties

Reporting to the Director, Student Affairs Office, Provost and the President supervising a compact team, the Associate Director, Student Affairs Office, is responsible for the following:

  1. In line with the vision and mission and stage of development of the Institutions, formulate and ascertain directions and strategies for development of student affairs in the Institutions.
  2. In line with the administrative and management policies of the Institutions, ensure optimal use of resources for delivery of student services with effective organisational structure, operation and management systems.
  3. Build up a student campus life culture for achieving the goal of provision of a total education for students.
  4. Build up and train a team of staff to have adequate knowledge and competent skills in carrying out duties related to student affairs in the Institutions.
  5. Perform other duties as determined by the Director, Student Affairs Office, Provost and the President.
Appointment Criteria
  1. Postgraduate degree with at least 3 years' relevant experience.
  2. Sound knowledge of role of student affairs in higher education in Hong Kong and abroad.
  3. Proven organisational and management skills and formal and informal leadership qualities.
  4. Good command of written and spoken English.

Assistant Manager/ Associate Manager (Resources and Finance) (Ref: 24/113/FEO/AM)
Duties

The appointee will be attached to the Finance and Estates Office (FEO) of the University/ College and will perform the following duties:

(a) preparing reports and analyses for financial planning, budgeting, and management accounting;

(b) handling account receivable, tuition fee collection, preparing income vouchers and analytic reports;

(c) providing support for campus development, resources and facilities management;

(d) carrying out procurement and tendering functions; and

(e) performing any other duties as assigned.

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should have (a) a bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines; (b) at least three years' relevant work experience, preferably in the self-financing post-secondary education sector; (c) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (d) a high proficiency in computer applications; and (e) good analytical, organizing and communication skills.

Preference will be given to applicants who have hands-on experience in budget preparation and management accounting. Possession of an accountancy qualification, e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), will be an advantage. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience that the candidate brings to the position.

Director/Associate Director of Quality Assurance Office (Ref: 24/21/QAO/D)
Duties

The Director/Associate Director of Quality Assurance Office (QAO) is responsible for assisting the Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance) and Associate Vice-President (Quality Assurance) in (i) ensuring effective enforcement and implementation of the Quality Assurance (QA) policies and systems of the University/College; (ii) overseeing the operations of the QAO, including staff management, resource allocation, workflow coordination, and data management; (iii) liaising with academic units in programme management and programme review matters, ensuring timely submission of responses to meet external accreditation and requirements of professional bodies ; (iv) coordinating survey/ analysis exercises for production of QA reports and relevant documentations and quality enhancement purposes; (v) reviewing QA record-related matters regularly for continuous enhancement of QA schemes and processes; (vi) managing the contents of the QAO's staff portal, student portal and website for sharing of information with relevant internal and external parties; and (vii) performing other duties assigned by the Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance) and/or the Associate Vice President (Quality Assurance).

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should have (i) a proven track record in quality assurance; (ii) management experience at a senior level and knowledge of higher education; (iii) preferably an earned doctoral degree, and leadership and people skills; and (iv) excellent written and spoken communication skills.
