背景簡介
I graduated with a B.Sc. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I received intensive training in Human Anatomy and Physiology, and I began to develop my research in the nervous system and the retina of vertebrates. After completing my undergraduate degree, I decided to further my postgraduate study at the same university and I shifted the focus of my research into developing novel drugs for cardiovascular and neurological diseases from natural products and Chinese herbal medicines. Through years of endeavors in finding and testing drugs, my study finally led me to a Ph.D. degree. Before joining the institute in 2016, I served and continued my research works in the University of Verona and later in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
