                                        Corruption (ICAC), I delivered a speech on "Which Firms Benefit from Bribes, and
                                        How  Much?  Evidence from Corruption Cases Worldwide" at the Seminar on
                                        The Development and Management of Anti-Corruption Systems in Hong Kong and
                                        Mainland  China.  The Seminar was hosted by ICAC Centre of Anti-Corruption
                                        Studies in collaboration with three anti-corruption research institutes under the
                                        Chinese Academy of   Social Science (中國社會科學院), Peking University (北京大學)
                                        and Beijing Normal University (北京師範大學),and it served as a platform for academics
                                        and practitioners, in  both Hong Kong and Mainland China, to share and exchange
                                        insight and experience in combating and preventing corruption in the public
                                        as well as the private sectors.
                                        The Seminar was held at ICAC Building, North Point, Hong Kong.

20/11/2012            Invited by Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), I delivered a speech on
                                      "Professional Accountability" at the ICAC Chief Investigators' Command CourseNo. 32. 
                                        The Course was specially designed for ICAC's newly promoted Chief Investigators to
                                        equip them with the strategic insight required for their future management and
                                        leadership roles. Participants also include officers of the rank equivalent to Police
                                        Superintendent from local, Mainland, Macao and overseas law enforcement agencies
                                        to achieve global participation and cultural diversity.

07/04/2001             APEC Corporate Governance Policy Dialogue
                                          Discussant of the above meeting (on behalf of the Taskforce on Peer Assistance
                                          and Review Network, Pacific Economic Cooperation Council) in Singapore. The
                                          dialogue took place back-to-back with the 3rd OECD/WB/ADB Asian Roundtable
                                          on Corporate Governance which held from April 4-6. The APEC dialogue session
                                          examined implementation issues of corporate governance, in particular the policy
                                          responses and government action needed to create incentives for good corporate
                                          governance,   while the OECD Asian Roundtable will focus on the technical aspects of
                                          corporate governance reforms. The policy dialogue focused on two main themes:
                                          1) creating the incentives for good corporate governance, and
                                          2) monitoring, enforcement and the legal framework to foster sound
                                          corporate governance.
