The Higher Diploma in Translation Technology and Modern Languages (HDTTML) is a distinctive programme that integrates translation, technology, and foreign-language studies. It equips students with the language, digital, and intercultural competencies needed for further study and careers in an increasingly technology-driven global environment.
Students develop strong proficiency in English and Chinese and acquire practical translation skills for a range of professional contexts, including art and culture translation and financial translation.
The programme places strong emphasis on the application of technology in translation. Students gain practical experience in translation technologies, with particular attention to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in translation.
