Biography

Dr Lin graduated with a PhD from the Department of Linguistics and Translation at City University of Hong Kong. Her research interest is in applying corpus-based methods to studies on TESOL pedagogy. Her Ph.D. dissertation focuses on the effectiveness of suggestion directness, metalinguistic explanation and praise in written corrective feedback in TESOL.
