Biography:
Professor Chong has an impactful career integrating practice, education and research in social work and social gerontology. Before joining SFU, she was Senior Researcher in the Labour and Welfare Bureau (2019-2022), an academic in CityU (1991-2019), as well as a social work practitioner and manager in a few NGOs. Her research interests include caregiving, ageing issues and policies. She was awarded more than 60 research grants, has published over 90 academic articles and presented over 90 conference papers. Prof. Chong was awarded the Medal of Honor by the Government, and Teaching Excellent Award by CityU and University Grant Committee respectively.

Prof. TSUI Ming-sum
Professor,
Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong School of Social Sciences, Saint Francis University

Biography:
Professor of Social Work and the former Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong Dean of Social Sciences, Saint Francis University.  Ming-sum is also a visiting or honorary professor of other six universities.  Before joining SFU, he was Professor of Social Work, Associate Dean, and Acting Dean, Faculty of Health & Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  His research interests include theory & practice in social work, social work supervision, human service management, social work education, substance abuse, life expectancy, and informal caregiving. He has conducted 22 funded research projects with HK$23 million and published more than 210 items, including 12 books and 82 refereed journal articles with an H-Index of 29.  Ming-sum is now serving as the Co-Chief Editor of International Social Work Journal and editorial board member for other nine academic journals.

Prof. WONG Yu-cheung

Biography:
WONG Yu-cheung (PhD) is Professor cum Dean at the Felizberta Lo Padilla Tong School of Social Sciences of Saint Francis University. He teaches Social policy and Research. His major research areas include social security and retirement protection in Hong Kong, Macau, and Shanghai. He has also taken part in the study of the Long-term care needs projection in Hong Kong and Macau. Currently, he serves as members and chairperson in several local NGOs' service and IT committees. He is now the chief editor of the Hong Kong Journal of Social Work.

Dr. CHAN Cheong-yu, Stephen

Biography:
Dr. Stephen CHAN is currently an Assistant Professor of the School of Arts and Humanities at Tung Wah College. He is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and a Registered Psychologist in the Hong Kong Psychological Society.

Dr. CHAN obtained his PhD in Psychology from the Department of Applied Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Before joining, he was experienced in teaching a wide range of psychology and research subjects. He has also been involved in different research projects pertaining to carer and aging population. His current research is mainly related to carer studies, positive psychological interventions and positive psychology in older adults.

Dr. FUNG Ka-yi

Biography:
Ka Yi Fung is an Assistant Professor in School of Social Science at Saint Francis University. She obtained the BSSC and Mphil in Sociology from Hong Kong Baptist University and the Ph.D. degree in Sociology from University of Saskatchewan. Her research interests include social networks, social support and caregivers, and ICT. Currently, she is involving in a collaboration about video-gaming and network building among middle and old age players.

Dr. LO Ka-wing, Sally

Biography:
Dr. Sally Ka-wing Lo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Social Sciences, at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. She holds a PhD from Monash University and is a registered social worker in Hong Kong. Her research focuses on carer well-being, carer policy, intergenerational family dynamics, and gender studies. Sally has collaborated with local and international organisations on various projects and services. Her work has received several awards, including the United Nations Women Training Centre scholarship and the CUHK Impact Postdoctoral Fellowship.
