Biography
Professor Meyrick Chow was a faculty member of the School of Nursing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 1995 to 2014. Having worked as the Acting Dean and Professor of the School of Nursing Tung Wah College for over five years, Professor Chow then joined the School of Health Sciences, Caritas Institute of Higher Education, in September 2022. Over the years, he has developed research interests in and published articles on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, diabetes care and infection control. Professor Chow was a Consultant to the World Health Organization (Regional Office for the Western Pacific) for developing an infection control assessment tool. As a Principal Investigator, he has successfully obtained competitive research grants from the Research Grants Council and the Food and Health Bureau of The HKSAR Government. Besides, Professor Chow has served as a member of The Nursing Council of Hong Kong (NCHK), the Accreditation Committee of NCHK, numerous scientific committees of international conferences, and the editorial board of academic journals.
